Who This Is For
I work with a specific kind of traveler.
This page exists to save everyone time. Read it, decide. If we're a fit, the inquiry form is at the bottom. If we're not, you'll know — and that's just as valuable.
For —
-
Diaspora returners
Travelers with ancestral, family, or community ties to Ghana or West Africa, returning with weight. Often arrive with DNA results, family stories, or a longer pull they're ready to honor with ceremony.
-
Group milestones
Sorority sisters marking 10 or 20 years. Church groups on a planned pilgrimage. Family reunions on neutral ground. Anniversary trips with the people closest to you. Six to twenty travelers, a reason to gather.
-
Comfort-prioritizing first-timers
First trip to Ghana, first trip to West Africa. You want comfort, pacing, and someone who handles every logistical detail. You'd rather be over-cared-for than under-prepared.
-
Photography-led travelers
You're a photographer, stylist, creative director, or brand with editorial intent — not influencer reels. You want the welcome photoshoot, the custom traditional wear, the locations chosen for light.
-
Spiritually open visitors
Open to ceremony, libation, renaming, the spiritual church tour. You may not know the protocols yet, and that's fine — the work is preparing you for them.
-
Multi-generational families
Bringing parents, kids, and elders together. Different paces, different needs, different stories. The work is designing one trip that holds all of them.
Not for —
-
Backpackers and budget shoppers
Trips begin at [$X,XXX] per person, before international flights. If that's outside the range, there are good guides and tour operators who serve that segment well. I'm not one of them.
-
Anyone unwilling to engage with cultural protocol
Royalty, elders, clergy — these are not photo ops. The audience at the Akwamu Fia Palace requires preparation, dress, and conduct. If that sounds like too much friction, the rest of the trip won't work either.
-
People wanting a "safari Africa" trip
This is Ghana, on its own terms. No big game, no Out-of-Africa fantasy. If that's what you're after, you're looking for Kenya or Tanzania. I'll happily refer you to someone who does that work well.
-
Travelers who want to plan it themselves
If you've already mapped your itinerary and just need a guide on the ground, I'm not the right fit. The work is the design — the design is the value.

Specific number, not a starting-at-premium-pricing line. If that's the right range, the rest of the conversation works.
